So the other night when Matt got home from work I thought it would be fun to roast marshmallows and eat s'mores as a family. However we had nowhere to do that so we built a fire pit. Avery got some new "garden shobels" from her friend Blake which came in really handy for this project, she really wanted to help Matt put the dirt in the wheelbarrow. It didn't take long at all and we have had so much fun with it. Adalynn sits there the whole time trying to blow out the fire, and Avery is so nervous that Daddy is gonna catch on fire, but they both loved the outcome...s'mores!

My kids love making s'mores! And last year at our reunion we found out roasting starburst candy is really good. Only for a few seconds, crispy outside and soft inside. Don't think we're crazy. try it! Yum. We might have to invite ourselves out. We'll bring the chocolate, ha!
